We understand that your pets are like family, and it’s our top priority to make you feel comfortable with the care we provide them. To make sure all your questions are answered, we’ve included our FAQs below.
WHAT ARE YOUR PUPPY PRICES?
Puppy prices start at the following amounts and increase from there:
ACA Puppies - $1,400.00 & up ($500.00 of that due as non-refundable deposit)
AKC Puppies - $1,800.00 & up ($500.00 of that due as non-refundable deposit)
The above prices are for puppies sold on spay/neuter contracts. For an additional $250.00 to $500.00 we offer full registrations without spay/neuter clause on select puppies.
AKC Specialty litters:
Boys/Girls - $3,000.00 & up ($500.00 of that due as a deposit)
(Specialty litters are for show/breeding homes and puppies are individually pre-screened with clear genetics for breeding programs in search of 100% clears of DM, EFS & DE/CC with full registrations)
AKC Chocolate Carriers $3,500.00 & up ($500 deposit)
AKC Chocolate Colors $5,000.00 & up ($800 deposit)
Sometimes we have puppies priced more or less than above, those however are on a case-by-case basis and it will be noted by the puppy listing. These are separate from our standard wait list puppies and generally were either bred for the sole purpose of holding back a puppy for ourselves, collaborations with another breeder, or a puppy has a trait or fault that changes their value.

How our waiting list works:
Non-refundable deposits are required to reserve a place on our list. Places are given in the order deposits are received.
Deposit amount is $500 for pet home ACA/AKC regardless of gender. We currently maintain 4 separate waiting lists as follows: ACA, AKC, AKC Chocolate (Chocolate color Cavaliers) and Specialty AKC (please note Specialty AKC wait list deposits are $500 and AKC Chocolate wait list deposits are $800).
Whenever we have puppies available for selection, we will go down our respective wait list in order, offering to those what we have as currently available. Any non-selected puppies after that will be listed on our website as available.
HOW DO I GET ON YOUR WAITING LIST?
If interested in being on our waiting list, please let us know your preferred color, gender, and registration type. We will let you know the APPROXIMATE timeframe a suitable litter will be available for your preference. Should that be agreeable to you, a deposit is required in the amount of $500 to reserve spot on the waiting list. The exception to this being our specialty AKC litters bred exclusively for show/breeding homes or for those desiring one of our AKC Chocolate Cavaliers. The deposit on those lists is also $500. Waiting list deposits are applied to the purchase price of a puppy and are only transferable and NON-REFUNDABLE unless expressly stated by MKK beforehand.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PET HOME AND SHOW/BREEDING HOMES?
The difference between them is as follows. Pet home puppies are placed on a strict Spay/Neuter contract and paperwork is withheld until proof of spay/neuter is submitted. Puppies placed for pet homes MUST be a MINIMUM of 12 months (1 yr) of age BEFORE they are spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering before 12 months (1 yr) of age breaches your signed contract and will void all warranties as well as forfeiting any registrations offered. Breeding/show homes are placed without the spay neuter clause and paperwork is provided at the time puppies go home. Not all puppies are suitable for breeding homes and MKK and their vet make that decision prior to placing puppies for sale.
WHAT IF THERE IS NOT A PUPPY I WANT IN THE LITTER I AM WAITING ON?
Your deposit will transfer to the next available litter that meets your preference requirements. Deposit is transferable but NON-REFUNDABLE.
HOW DO I PLACE A DEPOSIT?
We will send you a tailored invoice to you by email via our Square Business payment processor. The Square invoice features a secure check-out and is paid with a credit or debit card just like any other online transaction.

WHEN IS MY DEPOSIT PAYMENT DUE?
Deposits payments are due immediately. Your place in line for a puppy is not reserved without a deposit payment being placed. Once the invoice is issued you will have a 24 hour window in which to pay it. If your deposit payment is not received within the allotted timeframe, the invoice is canceled and you are not placed on our wait-list.
Deposits on currently available puppies are $500 and are also due immediately in order to secure reservation. If puppy is close to their go home date, full payment may be required up-front on unselected puppies.
Deposits are transferable but NON-REFUNDABLE.
WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE ON MY PUPPY?
The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the agreed upon date your puppy will go home (if puppy is going home via delivery option remaining balance must be paid in full prior to leaving MKK). If an unselected puppy is selected the same week they will be going home, full payment may be required up-front.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, we do! We offer individually-tailored payment plans to fit your budget and needs. Payment plans may begin as far in advance of a litter's arrival as needed however your puppy's remaining balance must be paid in full 1 week prior to them leaving to come home.
WHEN DO I SELECT MY PUPPY?
Selections will begin around 4-6 weeks of age. The order of selection occurs in the order deposits are received, with the exception of the first pick (My Kids Kennel reserves the right to first pick in every litter).
WHEN IS MY PUPPY READY TO COME HOME?
Our puppies are ready to go home at 9-10 weeks old following their final veterinarian exam. If you needs us to, we will hold our puppies for an extra 2 weeks for an additional fee to accommodate an additional vet visit.
WHAT VETERINARY CARE WILL MY PUPPY RECEIVE BEFORE COMING HOME?
All of our puppies are placed on a vet-recommended vaccine and worming schedule that includes multiple rounds of broad spectrum wormers and up to 3 rounds of puppy vaccinations as well as their first monthly flea treatment. Additionally your puppy will come with their individual vet records and official veterinarian-issued Health Certificate and will have had at 1-3 veterinary health and wellness exams.
DOES MY PUPPY COME WITH A HEALTH WARRANTY?
Yes. All of our puppies come with a Health Warranty against fatal Heart issues and defects for 2 years.
AFTER PLACING MY DEPOSIT, WILL I RECEIVE ANY UPDATES ON MY PUPPY BEFORE IT COMES HOME?
Yes, you will receive several updates!
WILL MY PUPPY BE POTTY-TRAINED?
We introduce our puppies to litter box training to aid you in further potty training once they go home.
WILL MY PUPPY BE WELL SOCIALIZED?
Our puppies are all raised inside the heart of our home. They are exposed all day long to the regular sights and sounds of a bustling home life. They are exposed to vacuuming, laundry sounds, television, children at play, and much more! We handle and play with them regularly throughout the day, as do our children, making them great family pups. We also have cats here at My Kids Kennel so they are great with your furry family members too.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING WILL MY PUPPY COME HOME WITH?
We send all our puppies home with a complimentary puppy kit including:
Food
Treats
Toys
Blanket
Health Records
Note: Puppy kit items may be limited depending on delivery option.
HOW DOES MY PUPPY GET HOME?
We offer a wide variety of options to get your puppy home to you for an additional fee. Fees vary based upon available delivery/meetup options.

We actually send our puppies home with 30 days of free Trupanion coverage that our families can continue after the 30 days expires should they so choose. Note: Per our contract families must activate their 30 days of free insurance with Trupanion.
