We understand that your pets are like family, and it’s our top priority to make you feel comfortable with the care we provide them. To make sure all your questions are answered, we’ve included our FAQs below.
DO YOU HAVE A WAITING LIST?
Yes, we do! How our waiting list works, non refundable deposits are required to hold a place on our list. Places are given in the order deposits are received. Before placing a deposit you will be told how many people are ahead of you in line then once deposit is paid you will be given your place in line. Deposit amount is $300 for boys and girls. We have 3 separate waiting lists ACA, AKC and Specialty AKC (please note Specialty AKC wait list deposit is $500). Whenever we have puppies we will go down our list in order offering to that list what we have available. We will also inform those on our lists that we have puppies from our other lists available should they not all be chosen by that wait list (offering first refusal of AKC pups to our ACA list for example before advertising them as available elsewhere) pricing will adjust accordingly should a higher or lesser priced puppy be selected in that scenario. Any unselected puppies after that will be listed on our website as available.
HOW DO I GET ON YOUR WAITING LIST?
If interested in being on our waiting list, let us know your preferred color, gender, and registration type. We will let you know the approximate timeframe a suitable litter the list will be. Should that be agreeable to you, a deposit is required to reserve your place on the waiting list in the amount of $300. The exception to this being our specialty AKC litters bred exclusively for show/breeding homes. The deposit on those lists is $500. Waiting list deposits are applied to the purchase price of a puppy and are only transferable and not refundable unless expressly stated by MKK beforehand.
WHAT IF THERE IS NOT A PUPPY I WANT IN THE LITTER I AM WAITING ON?
Your deposit will transfer to the next available litter that meets your preference requirements.
HOW DO I PLACE A DEPOSIT?
We have a Square Business account that we send tailored invoices from to your email. The Square invoice features a secure check-out and is paid with a credit or debit card just like any other online transaction.
Deposits are transferable but non-refundable.
WHEN IS MY DEPOSIT PAYMENT DUE?
Deposits payments are due immediately. We do not hold a puppy without a deposit. Once the invoice is issued there is a 24 hour window in which to pay it. If your deposit payment is not made within the allotted time, the invoice is canceled and the puppy becomes available to next in line.
Deposits are transferable but non-refundable.
WHEN IS THE BALANCE DUE ON MY PUPPY?
The remaining balance is due by the time the puppy turns 7 weeks old after 6 week vet check. Payment can be made in full or in instalments at any point prior to this due date.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes, we do! We offer individually-tailored payment plans to fit your budget and needs. Payment plans may begin as far in advance of a litter's arrival as needed so that your plan works for final payment by 7 weeks. All puppies must be paid in full in prior to them leaving.
WHEN DO I SELECT MY PUPPY
While we will notify you when a litter has arrived. Actual selections will not take place until 6 weeks old, following their 6 week vet check. Selections will take place in the order deposits are received, with the exception of first pick (My Kids Kennel reserves the right to first pick in every litter).
WHEN IS MY PUPPY READY TO COME HOME?
Our puppies are ready to leave the Saturday following their turning 8 weeks old. If you needs us to, we will hold our puppies for an extra 2 weeks without an additional fee.
WHAT VETERINARY CARE WILL MY PUPPY RECEIVE BEFORE COMING HOME?
All of our puppies are placed on a vet-recommended vaccine and worming schedule that includes multiple rounds of broad spectrum wormers and up to 3 rounds of puppy vaccinations as well as their first monthly flea treatment. Additionally your puppy will come with their individual vet records and official veterinarian-issued Health Certificate and will have had at 1-2 veterinary health and wellness exams.
DOES MY PUPPY COME WITH A HEALTH GUARANTEE?
Yes. All of our puppies come with a 2-yr Health Guarantee. Visit our Contract and Guarantees page for further information.
AFTER PLACING MY DEPOSIT, WILL I RECEIVE ANY UPDATES ON MY PUPPY BEFORE IT COMES HOME?
Yes, you will! As a courtesy we provide updates at least every weekend along with occasional candid litter photos.
WILL MY PUPPY BE POTTY-TRAINED?
We introduce our puppies to puppy pads to aid you in further training once they go home.
WILL MY PUPPY BE WELL SOCIALIZED?
Our puppies are all raised inside the heart of home. They are exposed all day long to the regular sights and sounds of a bustling home life. They are exposed to vacuuming, laundry sounds, television, children at play, and much more! We handle and play with them regularly throughout the day, as do our children, making them great family pups. We also have cats here at My Kids Kennel so they are great with your furry family members too.
WHAT, IF ANYTHING WILL MY PUPPY COME HOME WITH?

HOW DOES MY PUPPY GET HOME?
We offer a wide variety of options to get your puppy home to you for an additional fee. Fees vary based upon preferred delivery/meetup option. These options include:

Airport meetup at our closet airport should you choose to fly-in
DO YOU RECOMMEND INSURANCE
Yes we do. We actually send our puppies home with 30 days of free Trupanion coverage that our families can continue after the 30 days expires should they so choose.
